Kindergarten Teacher

December 19, 2002

Plato once said, "The direction in which education starts a man will determine his future life." Being a Kindergarten teacher I believe Plato was speaking directly to me. My goals as a teacher reflect just that. I strive to give every child individual attention to drive them to a positive direction toward their future using fun, creative lessons to peak their interests.

I was born and raised on a ranch in Colorado. My family raised hereford cattle and quarter horses as well as traveled in the summer with the rodeo circuit. I am married and have two children. I enjoy web design, and searching the "net" for new, interested lessons for my classroom. I also keep busy with my families activities with my children involved in sports, music, church, and my husband involved in auto racing. My hobbies include family, camping, and scrapbooking. Al of which I wish I could spend more time with.

I received my degree from the University of Northern Colorado in 1982. I have taught Kindergarten in the states of Colorado, Wyoming, and Nebraska for 13 years. I have also pursued my interest in computers within those years as manager of a technical support team for a Macintosh computer software company working with medical providers all over the world via telephone to keep their software and hardware working for them.
