The Freeman FFA Chapter is hosting a Fun Run and Walk this year as part of the Adams Community Day events on August 19th. The run or walk will have two courses: a one-mile course and a three-mile course. Registration for the event will start at 8 a.m. at the Adams Park and the events will start at 8:30 a.m. Cost for the event is $8 for adults, $4 for students, and free for students that are not in school yet, and all proceeds will go towards FFA beautification projects at the park such as painting lines, replacing nets, and landscaping different areas in the future.
"This event really brings together two important items for the community," said Mr. Jensen, FFA advisor. "The fun run and walk promotes health and wellness of all community members and the proceeds from the event will be used to maintain and beautify the park. It is a win-win situation for everyone."
