FFA Members Attend IMPACT Workshop

Norris Sponsors Annual Leadership Event

Fifteen members of the Freeman FFA Chapter traveled to Norris High School for the IMPACT Leadership Workshop on Friday, October 13th. The them for these workshops was “Livin’ In Fast Forward” and each of the workshops were put on by the state FFA officers. Members discussed opportunities in FFA, different skills necessary for leadership, and what it takes to be successful.

“The IMPACT Workshop is a good opportunity for students to meet people from other local FFA chapters and develop leadership skills,” said Mr. Jensen, FFA advisor. “It also allows them to get to know the state officers.”

FFA members attending the workshop were Denae Wolken, Matt Nieveen, Mandi Hejkal, Sara Marker, Kristen Andersen, Eric Rapp, Brittany Oltman, Bailey Buhr, Anna Jurgens, Amanda Wusk, Natalie Lenners, Kyle Schlake, Heath Huenink, Amanda Wusk, and Shelby Mason.
