On Sunday, October 29th, the Freeman FFA Chapter put on the first Halloween Fun Night for elementary students at Freeman in the agriculture education shop. Around 30 elementary students showed up for the evening in their Halloween costumes.

Games included pumpkin bowling, dressing students up like mummies, musical chairs with Halloween music, and bobbing for apples. The FFA provided drinks and eyeball and brain cookies for snacks.

Mummy wrapping was fun for all students involved.

“For the first year, it was a big success,” said Mr. Jensen, Freeman FFA advisor. “The elementary kids had fun, and we learned what worked well, what the elementary students are interested in, and have some great ideas for next year’s event.”
