Two Freeman Students Accepted Into National FFA Band & Chorus
Nieveen, Jurgens Selected Into Elite Group

Jerod Nieveen, son of Jay and Teri Nieveen, and Anna Jurgens, daughter of Paul and Cindy Jurgens, were recently selected to perform with the National FFA Band or Chorus. Nieveen was selected to the National FFA Band and plays percussion, while Jurgens was selected to the National FFA Chorus.
Both performers will represent the Freeman FFA Chapter during the week of October 21st through 27th, 2007 at the 80th National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana. In the days leading up to the convention, Nieveen and Jurgens will go through practice sessions and perform for luncheons and other special events. Once the convention starts, their duties include performing for over 50,000 FFA members at sessions.
