Wolken Qualifies For State Track Meet
The Freeman Falcons competed in the class C-1 District Track Meet held at Johnson County Central on Thursday. As a team, the Lady Falcons finished fifth in the District and qualified Denae Wolken for the State Track Meet. Denae ran her best mile time in her four year career and won the event in 5:41.8. Junior High Girls Conclude Track Season
The Freeman Junior High Girls concluded their track season by competing in the Pawnee City Invitational. Nine Schools competed in the meet with the Lady Falcons finishing in seventh place and scoring 32 points. Second Grade Field Trip
The Freeman Second Graders went on a field trip to Arbor Day Farm in Nebraska City. The morning was filled with a guided tour and the students learned all about bees.
