Elementary Cleaning Up To Play!

The elementary students
enjoyed a morning in the dirt on Monday, April 21. In
preparation to clean up the area south of the elementary for the
new playground, the entire elementary put on their mud shoes and
stepped outside to pick up rocks and debris from the
site.
The teachers voted on the class they felt cleared the most and it ended as a tie between the 2nd and 5th Grade. THANK YOU for all your hard work Elementary!
Soon black dirt will be coming in and grass will be planted. There will also be a sidewalk and concrete pad poured, as well as a fence around the perimeter of the playground. This fall the Playground Committee plans to install one phase of the playground equipment.
Thank you to everyone who supported the Playground's recent Pork Sandwich Feed, and current Schwan's fundraising sales. Your support is greatly appreciated to give the kids at Freeman a wonderful playground.
