Junior High Girls Finish Fourth In Pioneer Conference Track Meet

Eleven schools traveled to Pawnee City on Saturday to compete for the title in the Pioneer Conference Track Meet. Omaha Brownell Talbot won the girls division with 111.5 points. Sterling finished in second place with 77 points and HTRS was third with 72 points. The Freeman girls scored 49 points to earn a fourth place finish. Individual results for Freeman were as follows:
Triple Jump: 1st place, Anna Harder, 29' 6.75"
Discus: 2nd place, Abbey Klein, 74' 9"
Shot Put: 5th place, Abbey Klein, 25' 11.5"
100 Meter Dash: 5th place, Anna Harder, 14.7
800 Meter Run: 2nd place, Morgan Lenners, 2:43.3
1600 Meter Run: 2nd place, Morgan Lenners, 6:21.2; 4th place, Brooke Mason 6:30.4; 6th place, Courtney Buhr, 6:34.3
1600 Meter Relay: 3rd place, Kylie Trobee, Anna Harder, Shannon Koenig, and Morgan Lenners, 4:57.9
