Second Grade Field Trip

The Freeman Second Graders went on a field trip to Arbor Day Farm in Nebraska City. The morning was filled with a guided tour and the students learned all about bees. In the afternoon we were busy doing our own exploring.

Gage Rogman, Korey Beu, Trevor Pickard, Michael Knipe, Christian Furtado, Tyler Singleton, and Isaias Flores made it to the top of the 50 foot canopy tree house!

Some of activities included hiking on the trails, exploring in the outdoor classroom, and climbing up to the top of the 50 foot canopy tree house. At the end of the day, the students were sent home with a tree to plant.
