The Freeman FFA Chapter held National FFA Week Activities on February 23rd through 27th. The week's theme was "Stand Up. Stand Out."
On Monday morning in the gym, the annual digging for worms competition was held, where high school students dug through pudding without any hands to dig out gummy worms. Evan Buss dug out his 7 gummy worms in 54.75 seconds.
On Tuesday morning, the officers conducted hat day. To get to wear a hat for the day, students either paid $1 or donated two canned food items. The chapter raised $100 and collected 91 canned food items.
Wednesday was Mr. Jensen Look-Alike Day. The best dressed students were Colton Beebe for the elementary and Chase Heble for the high school.
On Thursday, the elementary participated in the annual elementary drawing contest. This year's theme was "What Agriculture Means to Me".
Friday was farm vehicle day. Sixteen tractors and two riding lawn mowers made the trip to school that day and occupied the back of the school parking lot.
