Seven Selected To All-State Band

Seven Freeman Band Members have been selected to participate in the Class C All State Band!
Auditions for the Class C All State band require 3 scales and 2 etudes. A record 205 students from Class C schools across the state sent in auditions in January this year and 140 were chosen.
Freeman band members being selected were Abbey Klein, 1st chair; Gerrit VanEngen 1st chair, Jeff Wallman, Lindsay Hottovy, Shelby Koenig, Amanda Wusk and Natalie Lenners.
The group will travel to Kearney for a day of rehearsal and an evening performance. The performance will be at 5:30 pm on March 20 at Kearney High School.
Congratulations to all seven for this accomplishment.
