Wrestlers Compete at ECNC Tourney
5th Place Finish with Six Medalist
Freeman had 15 wrestlers compete in the ECNC Tourney on Friday, February 3, and medal six wrestlers along with two 5 th places and one 6 th place. The tournament was run with pool format, which gave the wrestlers 4-5 matches. This was the first year Freeman competed in this tournament. Chandler Brandert (152) won his weight division, and pinned all five opponents. Scott Adams (220) received a silver medal and won three matches by pin and another by a decision of 5-4. Freeman Girls Finish 2nd in Pioneer Conference Tournament—Prepare for Post Season
The Freeman Lady Falcons finished 2nd at the Pioneer Conference Tournament this past week, losing to the Friend Lady Bulldogs on Friday, Feb. 3rd. The Bulldogs were able to control the tempo of the game early and pushed the lead at half time to 29-17.
