Fifth Grade Band Has 22 Students

The new 5th grade band is off to a great start with 22 students in beginning band!
We have five flutes, five clarinets, one alto saxophone, six trumpets, two trombones and three percussionists.
Thursday night, September 4, was an exciting night with Schmitt Music Store from Omaha and Dietz Music from Lincoln both renting out instruments to our families—rates right up there with Christmas when you get your first instrument!
We have had four classes together so far and things are above average at the moment and good practice habits will add to the talent. You can look forward to hearing us at the Elementary Christmas Concert in December!
