The Falcon Program celebrates!

There was much excitement as the children (and parents!) entered The Program through the zero’s to celebrate the 100th Day of learning at Freeman. Many activities followed that afternoon such as making crowns, completing a graph by coloring in one space for each picture on the ‘100’ then using vocabulary such as greater than, less than, etc to complete questions and answering funny questions like “If I had a 100 mosquito bites, I would…” Jordan Jurgens said he would “itch a lot.” and Logan Pelc replied she’d “need lots of pink, itchy medicine.”
We conducted our own experiment for Groundhog’s Day and were disappointed to confirm Phil’s predication of six more weeks of winter! The children, AND staff, were hoping for different results. J
We ended our fun week on Friday by celebrating “Bubble Gum Day”! We conducted an estimating activity and a science experiment with Bubble Gum. Everyone enjoyed chewing their piece of gum for the rest of the day.
