Freeman FFA Competes at District CDE's

The Freeman FFA Chapter traveled to Southeast Community College-Beatrice to compete in the district Career Development Events (CDE’s).
“Overall, it was a good day,” said Mr. Jensen, FFA advisor. “Several teams qualified for the state competitions in April and several others were close to qualifying. The students have some work to do between now and state to be competitive there.”
Below are the results:
Agriscience
- 1st Place Team (Jeffrey Wallman, Austin Ruskamp, Johnathan Neil, Blake Lenners)
- 6th Place Team (Lindsay Hottovy, Morgan Lenners, Kylie Trobee, Anna Harder)
- Jeffrey Wallman and Blake Lenners – tied for 3rd place individual – purple ribbon
- Austin Ruskamp – 8th place individual – purple ribbon
Farm Management
- 4th Place Team (Chase Heble, Mitch Hesseltine, Chandler Brandert, Evan Buss)
- Chase Heble – 6th place individual
Floriculture
- 4th Place Team (Natalie Lenners, Anna Jurgens, Ashley Ayres, Sara Marker)
- 6th Place Team (Allison Evers, Abbey Klein, Kristen Andersen, Katherine Weber)
- Natalie Lenners – 7th place individual
- Ashley Ayres – 10th place individual
