Mrs. Archer’s  5th and 6th grade Social Studies classes are trying their hand at online portfolios, which will serve as a place for them to keep the work they have completed throughout the year.  Mr. Dalrymple, and four of his senior students, came to our classroom to help us get started this week.   Each student used a portfolio template that had already been created, named it, and inserted their project into a new post.  Students will continue to add projects throughout the year in this manner. Once the sites are active, they can be accessed through Mrs. Archer’s website.  The goal is to have students keep work throughout their elementary and high school years in one place for reference, and for students to be able to see their academic growth and progress. Thanks to Mr. Dalrymple, Alexis Holland, Paige Helmink, Megan Timms and Erik Rockberg for all of their assistance in getting these sites up and running!
