Math Centers in Mrs. Andreasen's Class

Math centers have been an exciting way of learning in Mrs. Andreasen’s class.  Students rotate through four different centers during math class.  The centers include seat work, iPad time, math games, and time with the teacher.  Students are practicing skills that have been taught while working in small groups, with the teacher, and individually. Mrs. Andreasen has found this time to be beneficial because it gives her students more practice in a smaller group setting.  Centers have allowed Mrs. Andreasen more time one on one with students, which provides immediate feedback about her students’ learning needs. The class looks forward to engaging in these math activities.
