🚨TAYLOR🎸SWIFT🚨 🏃🏻🏃🏼‍♀️On Tuesday, May 5th the Freeman Track & Field team will be auctioning off an authenticated Taylor Swift guitar towards the end of our track meet. It will be onsite for the whole day in front of the concession stand, under the tent. 🎟️Tickets will be sold at the meet. #WeAreFreeman🐦

As Mrs. A begins preparing for retirement, she’s diving into the very fun task of cleaning out her classroom. 💛 For years, Kypton has proudly called Mrs. A “Big Boss”… but today, during the clean-out process, she decided it was time to pass that title on. 🧼🚙We had a great turnout, at our senior service car wash, but had to cut it short due to rain. Still, students raised over $400 for the Adams Rescue! #WeAreFreeman🐦

📚🔎As the school year begins to wind down, our library is working to collect all borrowed books. Please take a few minutes to help your student check under beds, in couches, backpacks, and even the car for any missing library books. All books are due back on Friday, May 8th. 🚨Track Schedule Clarification 🚨 Freeman will NOT attend the Conestoga Track Invite on Monday, 4/27. Freeman WILL participate in the Shelby Rising City Invite on Tuesday, 4/28.

Over the past two days, our 1st–6th grade students had the incredible opportunity to take part in not just one, but TWO special author visits! 📚✨ Our 5th–6th graders were lucky enough to have an in-person visit with Deborah Hopkinson, a talented historical fiction author. She shared her passion for storytelling and history, and our students loved learning about her writing process and the inspiration behind her books! Meanwhile, our 1st–4th graders enjoyed a fun and engaging virtual visit with Suzanne Lang, the author of the beloved Grumpy Monkey series. She brought so much energy and creativity, and our younger students had a blast connecting with a story they know and love! What an amazing couple of days celebrating reading, writing, and the power of stories. We are so grateful for these opportunities for our students! 💙📖 #WeAreFreeman🐦
